[It really wasn't something that she would usually impose on, but it had been bothering her lately, just a little; that it was unusual for Lockon Stratos to have a twin with such a simple name, Lyle. Being that these gentlemen were men of war, Vietnam herself understood that perhaps they were just trying to hide their names. Perfectly understandable.

But she wouldn't mind it clarified, nonetheless, in case something or someone slipped up.

[ Lockon- or rather, Neil- wasn't doing anything of utter importance right now. He had just finished getting out of his new job at Triggerfingers. When he saw who was on the caller ID he answered right away, he liked Vietnam, she had been nice to him the day he had arrived. Besides, she made some fantastic food at that! ]

Hey there, Sen! What's going on?

[She could hear his cheerful voice on the other line, and there was a quirk of a smile on her lips, unnoticeable.]

Hello Lockon. [Part of her wondered if this was too strange to him.] How are you today? I just had a couple of questions, but I hope I did not catch you during a busy time?

Questions? Sure, sure why not, go ahead and shoot. I just got outta work, actually. [ He usually talked to her in person, but he figured if she was calling it was something important. ]

Ah, it is good timing, though you should try to rest at the same time. Are you still healing well?

[Anyway, questions! Though these are some she preferred to talk to him face to face, it is much easier to keep it private like this. Let's start off with context.] I met a man who looked exactly like you recently, and he said that he is your twin brother. Lyle, he said his name is.

[She pauses.] I was just curious, Lockon is a rather unusual name, but Lyle isn't? I was just wondering if this is your real name, or another. It doesn't matter if you are hiding it, ah, you can from a warring world, it is understandable.

[ He gave a light laugh, Vietnam was always doting on him, he found it...almost motherly, really. He always appreciated her concern. ] Better than fine, actually! Got my eye back when I got here, as...odd as the situation is, I still can't help but at least count my blessings after all.

[ Twin brother. At that Neil gave a small sigh, the reminder of his carbon copy being back was everywhere. And that in itself didn't bother him, but it was the fact his brother seemingly wanted nothing to do with him at this point that was the issue.

He mulled over the nation's question, she was observant, he had to give her that. After all, how many people knew him and seen his brothers arrival, but hadn't yet asked? It was a legitimate question, so this time he laughed again, though it was more somber than it has been previously. There was no point in lying here, after all, what harm would saying his real name do? ] You're right, it is a pretty strange name, isn't it? [ A beat. ] My real name is Neil, Lockon is a code name, after all, some things are... necessary when you're from a world at war.

Ah, what a relief. [And it shows on her face, as she sighs and gives him a slight smile.] That is a very good outlook, considering that it could be worse.

[Vietnam kept quiet during his explanation, knowing and understanding full well where he was coming from.] Apparently, you're not the only one with a strange name, no? One of my names seem to make many turn heads. [What a lame joke, but this is her serious way of trying to cheer him up.] Neil. It is a nice name. I understand perfectly. There are things which we just have to do when things are tough. But for now, you can rest.

Even with one eye missin', I still had the rest of my body intact so it was never really that bad to begin with really.

[ He chuckled at her response, he had thought of her name to be quite interesting when he first heard it. But given his own name he had decided not to make too much of a comment on it in the beginning. ] This place seems to be filled with oddoties, doesn't it? At least it makes things that much less surprising with how prevalent it is here. [ A beat. Rest, it had been something he hadn't been able to really do in over ten years. Using the word almost felt...odd, but it was true. ] Almost forgot what that word really meant, it feels odd to do so after so long.
